03 / Apps & platforms

An idea becomes
part of everyday life.

Apps and platforms people want to come back to. From the first user journey and prototype to the backend, launch and ongoing development.

PULSE / INTERACTIVE DESIGN CONCEPT

Different screens.
One seamless experience.

We choose the format around user behaviour, integrations and future plans. Not every problem needs an app in a store.

01

Mobile apps

Native iOS and Android products, designed around the habits and expectations of each platform.

A good fit for

Frequently used services, loyalty programmes, delivery, customer accounts and device features.

What we deliver
  • User journeys and UX/UI design
  • iOS and Android development, APIs and authentication
  • Push, camera and offline flows where needed
  • Device testing and store submission preparation
Your outcome

An app, backend and release materials. Platforms and features are agreed before development starts.

02

Web apps and services

Complete products in the browser: from customer portals to SaaS platforms and team workspaces.

A good fit for

B2B services, booking systems, marketplaces, partner portals and internal tools.

What we deliver
  • Roles, permissions and complex user journeys
  • Responsive interfaces and server-side business logic
  • CRM, payment and external API integrations
  • Admin tools, monitoring and release automation
Your outcome

A working service with structured data and an architecture designed to evolve.

03

Cross-platform development

A shared foundation for several platforms. Flutter or React Native help iOS and Android evolve together.

A good fit for

MVPs and products with similar journeys across devices and a shared development cycle.

What we deliver
  • Assessing the suitability of shared code
  • A design system and reusable business logic
  • Native modules and platform-specific adaptation
  • iOS and Android testing and release preparation
Your outcome

Two mobile versions sharing code where appropriate. Platform differences are handled individually.

PULSE / INTERACTIVE DESIGN CONCEPT

Less noise.
More of your rhythm.

A planner that gives the day a clear shape. This concept explores one product idea across a mobile app and a web service.

01 / PULSE

One useful next step

A daily priority, a short task list and a focus session. The small screen keeps attention on what matters now.

An interface demonstration, not a released client product. Sample data; synchronisation and the timer are not connected.

Effortless on the surface.
Thoughtful underneath.

Technology follows the problem. We consider integrations, load, maintenance and the team that will keep the product moving.

Privacy in the design

Data minimisation, retention periods, permissions and account deletion flows.

Designed for access

Contrast, touch targets, keyboard support and screen readers are part of interface review.

Reliable in the details

We test network failures, permissions and critical journeys, and plan monitoring and recovery.

THE ZIEL METHOD

Beyond the release.
Built to keep evolving.

01

Understand

Business goals, users, constraints and integrations.

A product map and MVP priorities.

02

Design

User journeys, a clickable prototype and architecture.

Validated flows and an agreed design.

03

Build

Short iterations, demonstrations and testing.

Working features with acceptance criteria.

04

Launch and improve

Environment setup, publication and documentation handover.

A support plan and next releases.

Before the first
line of code.

Native or cross-platform?+

For complex device features or specific platform requirements, we assess native development. For similar iOS and Android journeys, we consider Flutter and React Native. A technical review guides the choice.

What if I only have an idea?+

We start with the audience and one important journey, then create a prototype and define an MVP. Cost and timing are estimated against the agreed scope.

What about publication and ownership?+

We prepare builds and store materials and support the review process. Admission is decided by the platforms. Code rights, accounts, documentation and handover are defined in the contract.

Can you take over an existing product?+

Yes. We first review the code, infrastructure and user problems, then propose incremental improvements or a justified rebuild. Support and third-party costs are agreed separately.

FROM IDEA TO EVERYDAY
